Frequently asked questions

Who should attend this conference?

Regional, national and European experts involved in vaccination programmes and policies in any and all Member States are invited to this conference.

Why should I attend this event?

Beside discussing the preliminary outcomes of the study on methods for the performance monitoring of vaccination programmes across Europe, this event will provide an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with colleagues from other EU Member States and to discuss challenges related to the implementation of monitoring systems.

I cannot attend in person; Can I follow online?

Although in-person attendance at the conference is preferable, online participation will be possible. Online participation will limit access to the afternoon breakout sessions: only one breakout session per round will be accessible through an online platform.

Will my travel expenses be reimbursed?

Reimbursement is available for a maximum of two representatives of health authorities per Member State; Those eligible for reimbursement will be notified and agreed in advance. Reimbursement will be made according to the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1611 of 7 July 2016 and extend to one night of hotel accommodation (maximum amount of € 148 (VAT included) and return flight or train tickets to Brussels (economy class)). All reimbursements are made directly by the conference organisers upon electronic receipt of travel and hotel invoices within 6 weeks after the conference. Please contact us if you have questions about reimbursement or your eligibility for reimbursement.

What will be the outputs of the conference?

There will be two key outputs from the conference:

  1. A conference report to summarize the conference findings. This will be published on this website after the conference.
  2. A final set of recommendations adjusted based on the discussions and input received at the conference. These recommendations will be translated into all EU languages and shared with conference participants in early 2024.
